Tuna Avocado Salad… It’s what’s for #dinner.

Sometimes the day flies by and you end up having lunch pretty late. Let’s say around 3 or 4 pm. Hey, it happens. I know it shouldn’t happen. But it does. It ends up throwing your entire day off and you realize by 7 pm you’re not all that hungry! BUT you probably should have something. Sound about right? Welcome to adulthood. (Yay, we get to adult…)

So there you are, wondering what the heck am I going to eat? It’s probably too late to make something heavy. Well, I’ve got something that might work… I call it the Tuna Avocado Salad aka my snack attack recipe. It’s pretty simple, definitely filling, and you probably have most of the ingredients readily available. And once you’ve made it once, you can make it again and even try to throw in some other stuff too.

From my kitchen to yours, here’s a recipe you can use when you’ve been too busy adulting all day. Haha.

Ingredients

  • can of Tuna
  • 1 avocado, cut into cubes
  • 1 tomato, cut into cubes
  • a few slices of fresh mozzarella or more if you like a lot of cheese
  • fresh basil leaves, if available
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar, optional
  • salt and pepper

Directions
Super easy! Gently mix the tuna, avocado, tomato, mozzarella, and basil leaves in a bowl. Drizzle with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Then finally salt and pepper to taste!

That’s it! Easy right? Now back to adulting and remember this recipe when you find yourself needing something quick.
