I’ve passed the next $100 mark!!! Whoo hoo.
First and foremost, I want to thank my friends and family who donated in the past few weeks since I started. All of their generosity, support, and love means so much to me, and I wouldn’t be who I am without them. Thank you.
For those who are just joining in on the fun, I’m raising money for WeLead – a bipartisan training program run by the Women & Politics Institute at American University. The program provides young women the tools to have a successful political career through workshops on fundraising, communications, professional development, you name it!
I am a strong advocate for programs like WeLead because we need more women running for office, and more women to help create positive change to the current standards of politics. If you do too, please donate to WeLead. Every dollar helps.
Like I promised, for every $100 I raise, I’m posting a new video. Since I reached another benchmark, here’s my third video/song – ‘Cups (When I’m Gone)’. For a while I wanted to learn the cup sequence but was too busy. Then after several months of procrastinating, I find YouTube has TONS of these videos so I thought, “Now it’s so cliche!“. But it didn’t stop me from doing/learning it now. ^_^
Okay, enough babbling. Watch the video! (I’m still amazed that I was able to pull this one off!)
If you want to see more songs from me then donate to WeLead. Don’t forget to add my name, Edil De Los Reyes, in the optional message section AND to email your confirmation email to firstname.lastname@example.org so I can track donations in real-time.
Thank you in advance for your support, and thanks again to those who already donated. Enjoy the video!
‘Til the next time,
